I just finished off my session for FlashInTheCan titled "Implementing Multiple Undo/Redo in Flash Applications". I think the session went really well, and I have posted my notes and the source code for the presentation.
I'll write in more detail about the conference and my 3 day workshop when I get home, but I have to say FitC has been lots of fun and very well organized... kudos to all the staff and volunteers for putting together such a stellar conference.

Good to hear things are well over there in TO. I read about the conference on another blog and all of a sudden hate deciding not to go this year.
Bah .. post pics :)

A really useful mechanism to have in any app and one that though simple, needs to be architectured right.
I implemented the Memento pattern in Flash a few months ago as an experiment in design patterns in flash which you can see at http://www.nodetraveller.com/archives/000010.html though Grant takes it to the next level. Nice one!
Theres no reason not to have undo functionality within Flash apps at all now..
