Gathering: September 20th, 2003
We're baaaaack.
After taking the summer off, we want to get right back into the swing of things. We'll be meeting at our usual location, Guru Digital Arts College, on Monday September 20 at 7:00 pm.
Integrating Flash Video
Serving both the design & development crowd, Michael Warf (DEVBOX) will take you through a sample flash video project using Apple's Final Cut Pro 4 HD, Macromedia's Flash Video Exporter, and Macromedia Flash MX 2004.
Designers can breathe a sigh of relief as the first half of this talk will incorporate video using Macromedia's Media Components - without a lick of Actionscript.
Developers can balk at part one (and the bloated overhead of Macromedia's media components) while basking in part two - a pure code driven solution.
Open Mic
This is your chance to share a cool technique that you've learned, a project you've worked on, or anything else Flash.
We'll also be giving away more free stuff, and we all know free stuff is good.
