Next Gathering Details
The next gathering of EFUG will be on Monday, June 20 @ 7pm at our usual venue (info in the left sidebar). In addition to the usuals (swag, beer, beverages, flash geeks), Grant Skinner of gskinner.com will be doing a session entitled "Puki Dissected". The session description follows:
Take a behind the scenes tour of the popular 3D Flash game, "Puki: The Swarm". This session will detail the architecture, code, mathematics and algorithms behind the game, as well as examining the conceptual and creative path of the project. In addition, Skinner will share a variety of helpful tips and tricks he discovered while developing the game, including strategies for optimization, discouraging cheating, safe-guarding high scores, and thwarting "game pirates".
